Arriving in Forio d'Ischia
Hotel Park Calitto is 40.1 km from Naples Airport (NAP), where the Alibus shuttle runs to Napoli Centrale and the port. Ischia is reached by ferry or hydrofoil from Naples or Pozzuoli. Italian cities charge a tourist tax (tassa di soggiorno) per person per night, collected by the property rather than included in the booking total; the rate depends on the city and the property's star rating, and many properties still take it in cash.

Questions & answers
Where is Hotel Park Calitto?
The hotel is in Forio d'Ischia, a town on the island of Ischia in Italy. Rooms look out to the mountains or the garden, so it has a greener, more residential feel than a seafront strip.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes. There's an outdoor swimming pool with a sun deck and terrace beside it, set within the hotel's garden. It's one of the property's main draws and a signature feature.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is free at the hotel. That's useful on Ischia, where having a car or scooter makes it much easier to get around the island and reach beaches and other towns.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, the hotel is pet friendly and lists pet-friendly rooms among its signature features. If you're travelling with an animal, confirm the arrangements and any conditions directly when you book.
What room types can I book?
There are five: a Single, a Double or Twin, a Comfort Double or Twin, a Triple (one twin plus one queen) and a Quadruple (two bunk beds plus one queen). All have private bathrooms.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is offered and is listed among the hotel's popular facilities, with the option of breakfast in the room. Special diet meals are available on request. Check your rate to confirm whether breakfast is bundled in.
Is the hotel suitable for families?
Yes. Family rooms are available, and the Triple and Quadruple rooms sleep three and four. The Quadruple's bunk beds suit children, and the pool and garden give families space on site.
Does the hotel have a restaurant or bar?
There's a bar and a snack bar on site, plus room service and breakfast in the room. Special diet meals can be arranged on request. For full restaurant meals, you'll find options in Forio d'Ischia.
Is there air conditioning and wifi?
Wifi is free throughout. Air conditioning is available but carries an additional charge, so factor that in if you're visiting in high summer. Rooms also have a flat-screen TV, telephone and safe.
What time can I check in?
The front desk is staffed 24 hours, so arrivals aren't tied to a narrow window. Exact check-in and check-out times aren't listed in the facts, so confirm them with the hotel when you reserve.
How much does a room cost?
Rates start from €83. Prices vary by room type and season, so treat that as a floor rather than a fixed figure. Given the value-for-money theme in reviews, it sits at the budget end for Ischia.
How do I book?
Book through the usual online travel sites or contact the hotel directly. The 24-hour front desk can answer questions about room layouts, pet arrangements and air-conditioning charges before you commit.
